Spat over perks leaves ANC’s Cape list in a gemors, forces rerun

Bickering over the perks that come with membership of parliament and the provincial legislature has forced a rerun of the ANC’s Western Cape list conference.

A dozen members of the party’s provincial executive committee, including controversial poo protester Andile Lili and former MEC Richard Dyantyi, disputed the outcome of the December 9 conference this week and labelled it fraudulent and flawed.
