President Cyril Ramaphosa says the value and contribution of the SA National Defence Force (SANDF) is held in high regard by government.

Ramaphosa extended gratitude towards the SANDF during the marking of Armed Forces Day in Cape Town on Thursday.

Members of the army treated South Africans to a well organised parade, demonstrations of firepower as well as equipment capability to celebrate the day.
