From tough questions to praise - South Africans gave it to Ramaphosa via #HolaMatamela
#HolaMatamela was the hashtag dominating Twitter trends on Monday evening, as ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa took to the platform for a Q&A session with South Africans on various issues.
It was a heated session as citizens seized the rare opportunity of engaging the president.
He had some tough questions to answer on issues such as education, corruption and his plan about moving SA forward, should his party win the upcoming general election.
Some members of the LGBTQI community took the opportunity to hold Ramaphosa to a promise he made about engaging with them, while some appreciated his efforts and even expressed concerns about his well-being, asking if he was getting enough rest from electioneering.

Mr President, is it possible to make sure that there are less privileges for those who are serving in office, from your office, Ministers, through to MECs? So people serve for the sake of the people not their pocket?@CyrilRamaphosa
