The mood was largely light as the new members the national executive were sworn in by chief justice Mogoeng Mogoeng and his deputy Raymond Zondo at the Sefako Makgatho presidential guest house in Tshwane on Thursday.

The group of 62 ministers and deputy ministers took turns to either swear or affirm their loyalty to the constitution and people of the republic.
