For years, the Free State government strung along small-scale farmers who hitched their dreams to the Estina Dairy Farm project – that was before it turned into a cash cow for corrupt politicians and Gupta family members.

And now the farmers have testified to the Zondo inquiry about receiving death threats as they fight to get what they were promised.
