Health minister Zweli Mkhize is expected to brief the country about his department’s Covid-19 vaccination plan on Wednesday.
The briefing comes after it was reported that AstraZeneca’s vaccine was not particularly effective against mild to moderate disease caused by the dominant Covid-19 variant.
Earlier this week, government announced it would be receiving vaccines from Johnson & Johnson.
