After the KKK threatened to use 'Lethal force' against protesters in Ferguson Missouri, Anonymous has stepped in to unmask its members.

Ferguson has been the centre of protests ever since police gunned down 18-year-old Michael Brown, sparking violent protests and a national debate on how the country's police deal with minorities.

According to Talking Points Memo, Missouri chapter of the Ku Klux Klan distributed fliers near Ferguson, saying "We will use lethal force as provided under Missouri law to defend ourselves," the flier said.

"There will be consequences for your acts of violence against the peaceful, law abiding citizens of Missouri."

This led to several days of the two groups exchanging insults.

Then, The International Business Times reported, the Ku Klux Klan tweeted, "Anonymous is nothing but a bunch of wannabes. They won't take any action. We will not be brought down by some low-lives behind a screen."

Then the following Tweet appeared on the same account the KKK used to taunt Anonymous:

Anonymous has hacked several accounts belonging to Klan members, and publicly revealed their identities.

They have also DDOSed several Klan websites, as well as taking over two twitter accounts.

Anonymous has also released a map showing how members are working together worldwide to take down KKK servers.

This includes a few Anons in South Africa.

"Just remember; This operation is NOT for fun. The reason of this operation is to bring freedom, respect, stop racism and violence. OpKKK," #OpKKK @OperationKKK tweeted.
