Mickey Arthur has warned cricket fans to be patient as Australia begin a rebuilding process that might take years to come to fruition.

The South African's recent appointment as Australia's first foreign coach completed a major overhaul started after the Ashes debacle earlier this year. But Arthur said it could take until the 2015 World Cup to get a true indication of Australia's world standing. Arthur takes the helm for the first time in tomorrow's first test against New Zealand at Brisbane's Gabba.
