Ethiopian runner Yinesu defends Soweto Marathon title

Ethiopian runner Sintayehu Legese Yinesu successfully defended his Soweto Marathon championship title on Sunday by outpacing a field of more than 19‚000 runners. Yiensu won the men’s race in a time of 02:23:20. Zimbabwean athlete‚ Mike Fokoroni‚ took second place in a time of 02:24:12‚ followed by John Kirui from Kenya‚ who completed the 42.
