KZN not in position to fund Commonwealth Games

Kwazulu-Natal MEC for Finance Belinda Scott says the province is not in a position to fund the Commonwealth Games and that the national government will have to foot the bill. The city of Durban is scheduled to host the Games in 2022. More than 70 nations will be taking part in the event‚ during which some 200‚000 visitors are expected in the city.
