Tears flow as Jared Crous sets 200m Olympic qualifying time

“You f…ing champion!” aren’t the words normally reserved for the guy who finishes second. But that’s what the father of Jared Crous uttered as he embraced his son who had just delivered an unexpected Olympic qualifying time - by one-hundredth of a second - in the 200m breaststroke in Durban last night.
