Another blow for the Boks ahead of the Rugby Championship

Tighthead prop Frans Malherbe will miss the Rugby Championship after sustaining a neck injury during the Super Rugby campaign. The Stormers medical staff confirmed that Malherbe‚ who was one of the standout performers during last year’s World Cup‚ will be out of action for three months. Malherbe‚ 25‚ joins Stormers and Springbok teammate Siya Kolisi on the sidelines just weeks before the southern hemisphere’s most important tournament.
