Premier League high-flyers Southampton are reportedly interested in bringing South Africa and FC Twente’s attacking midfieler Kamohelo Mokotjo to the St Andrews Stadium.

The Saints, who currently lie fourth in the English standings, are in search of a replacement for Jack Cork, who recently signed for Premier League rivals Swansea City.

Southampton are eyeing up alternative replacements for Jack Cork with their move for Feyenoord's Tonny Trindade de Vilhena in the balance and, according to The Mirror, Feyenoord are playing hard ball over any deal to sell the talented youngster, so Saints are instead sounding out FC Twente's Kamohelo Mokotjo over a Premier League move.

Mokotjo, 23, previously played under Koeman at Feyenoord but was allowed to leave the club in 2013 in search of more regular first-team action.

He earned a move to Twente after impressing at PEC Zwolle last season, and the Enschede club could be convinced to cash in on the £6million-rated South African international - whom they bought for just over £1million in the summer.
