Kaizer Chiefs and Reneilwe Letsholonyane part ways
Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane will leave the club at the end of the season.
“We’d like to take this moment to wish you all the best in your future endeavours, said Chiefs in a brief statement on Thursday.
“Thank you for your valuable contribution to Kaizer Chiefs. We have shared many great moments together. May you continue inspiring and being a great example wherever your path leads.”
The 33-year-old joined Amakhosi in 2008 Jomo Cosmos and went on to win over 50 caps for the national team Bafana Bafana.
Letsholonyane's departure will be welcomed with jubilations from three-time champions SuperSport United, whose coach Stuart Baxter had previously admitted publicly that he would like to sign the former Cosmos star should his contract at Chiefs not be extended.
