“Thank you for your valuable contribution to Kaizer Chiefs. We have shared many great moments together. May you continue inspiring and being a great example wherever your path leads.”
The 33-year-old joined Amakhosi in 2008 Jomo Cosmos and went on to win over 50 caps for the national team Bafana Bafana.
Letsholonyane's departure will be welcomed with jubilations from three-time champions SuperSport United, whose coach Stuart Baxter had previously admitted publicly that he would like to sign the former Cosmos star should his contract at Chiefs not be extended.
