Dino Ndlovu scored a first goal for his new club in the Uefa Europa League on Thursday night away against a top Serie A outfit in what Bafana Bafana will hope is a return to form. The 26-year-old‚ who has made just three starts for Qarabaq of Azerbaijan‚ came on as a late substitute away against Fiorentina and bagged a goal in stoppage time at the end of the game. But it proved a mere consolation as Ndlovu’s club went down 5-1‚ forced to play for an hour down to 10 men after suffering an early red card.Ndlovu cut into the box and curled a shot inside the post for a fine finish that will enhance his chances of more game time with the club.Teenage South African soccer player quietly makes his bow in EuropeIt was a move that passed by almost unnoticed in the hurly-burly of the transfer window but teenage SuperSport United youth product Zama Rambuwane made his bow in Europe this past weekend when he turned out for Israeli top-flight side Hapoel Ra’anana. The burly and heavily-tattooed striker has led something of a nomadic career with stints in Cyprus and Israel‚ but his recent move to Azerbaijan‚ one of the former Soviet republics in central Asia‚ raised eyebrows.Ndlovu played in the Premier Soccer League for Bloemfontein Celtic‚ SuperSport United and was also on the books at Platinum Stars and Mamelodi Sundowns‚ but never played a senior match for either. He has also won four caps for Bafana – the last more than two years ago. - TMG Sport
