Bafana's 2018 World Cup opponents climb up rankings to second place on the continent

South Africa remain unchanged in 62nd place in the latest FIFA World Rankings released on Thursday having missed a major opportunity to climb the list after their 1-1 draws with Burkina Faso and Ghana this month. Bafana Bafana remain 13th on the continent‚ a figure they have hovered around for much of coach Shakes Mashaba’s two year reign‚ and well below the stated aim of SAFA to be regularly in the top three in Africa.
