I was in a hip and happening restaurant recently. I knew I didn’t belong right away because everyone was turned out to the max. Quick glance around and you could see long, pointy, glam nails, expensively distressed denim, plush cashmere athleisure pantsuits and BTS-inspired hairstyles. Gman and I looked out of place in our “going-out” attire — black T-shirts; washed-out, barely-still-black jeans; and old, scuffed, but polished boots.
