The past few months have drawn attention to some tragic incidents of extreme antisocial behaviour on the part of high school students. It is not only the crude racism of coloured boys at Pinelands High School or the vicious attack by one girl on another or the discovery of the dead body of a girl in the school storeroom. It is the everyday violence among pupils on so many school grounds that seldom makes the media but keeps the office of the principal a very busy place...
