Two-hundred years since its establishment under its globally renowned leader, King Moshoeshoe I , Lesotho has entered a celebratory mood. King Moshoeshoe was renowned for loving peace and said 'peace is my sister.' He put paid to his declaration that there could never be gender-based violence under his watch. In fact, he is one of two kings in the world who would break succession rules, albeit he did not succeed. He wanted Senate, his granddaughter, to be considered as the king. Likewise, the king of Georgia, decided that Tamara, his daughter, would be the king. ..
