Neither a slight bout of rain nor temperatures exceeding thirty degrees celsius could deter bibliophiles from flocking to Stellenbosch for the 2019 SU Woordfees.

This year's Writers Programme skriks for niks and thus far attendees have been treated to the likes of Ivan Vladislavić in conversation with Harry Kalmer; a panel discussion on the Steinhoff crash; Sihle Khumalo and Dana Snyman discussing all things travel; and “Ubudlelwano” with Melusi Tshabalala. 

The festival will run until Sunday, the 10th of March - be sure to catch Joanna Trollope (!), Deon Maas, Sara-Jayne King, Carol Campbell and many more...
