Stock Talk: Shareholders who show up give Anglo a klap

Anglo American shareholders are a rather slack lot. Only 59% of them bothered to pitch up at this week's annual general meeting (AGM). When you consider that the definition of "pitching up" includes sitting at your desk, filling out a proxy voting form and sending it off, which is what the vast majority of shareholders do, then we must know the slackness is at disturbing levels.
