Cotton On shifts focus from new stores to 'makeovers'

SA is global retailer Cotton On's third-most important market in terms of turnover and profit, after Australia and New Zealand, but the aggressive roll-out it started domestically in 2011 has slowed down.

Natalie Wills, the country manager of Cotton On SA, says the strategy over the next year is about uplifting some of the "older" stores, expanding where required, relocating where needed and looking at opportunities in regional and emerging-market locations...
