Mampara of the week: Jacob Zuma

JUDGED AND FOUND WANTING
Gauteng Judge President Dunstan Mlambo must have been tempted to go beyond legalese to use the "M" word in his indictment of our laughing leader this week, when he rebuked him for trying to stall Thuli Madonsela's State of Capture report.
What else could Mlambo's phrases "stymie the fulfilment of a constitutional obligation", "requires a sterner rebuke", "reckless and acted unreasonably", "conduct falls far short of the expectations of him as head of state", and "ill-advised and reckless" mean? Whichever way you read it - and one wonders if No1 has, as his office has not responded - it sounds like polite talk for what he really meant.
So let's say it for the judge: Mr President, you are a No 1 Mampara: without equal and without shame. A law unto yourself - almost. Hehehe!
