'Footwear' Mlambo deserves to get the boot

TSAMAYA is excited the MTN Media League is back, but SuperSport presenter Thomas Mlambo was way too eager to get back on the pitch. "Makarapa", as he is referred to on the show BackPages, arrived with six pairs of soccer boots. "It's for different pitch conditions," he explained. Needless to say, "Six Boots" was the laughing stock of the evening, especially since his side, TV XI, suffered an embarrassing defeat in their opening match because they could barely field a team. The referee awarded the opposition a 2-0 walkover. Our advice to Mlambo: get a team together before you assemble your boot collection.

KAIZER Chiefs are entering a team in a sevens rugby tournament in PE. It couldn't escape our attention that when towering defender Mulomowandau "Butterfingers" Mathoho got injured in Chiefs' draw with Maritzburg United, it was because he had tripped. His spider legs got tangled when he lost focus putting one foot in front of the other when trying to win the ball by handling it. Hopefully, Mathoho hasn't recovered in time for the rugby tournament because he might actually ask to play!
