Internet porn site Pornhub has revealed that Russia is the country that is most keen on anal sex according to reports.
The UK's Independent reported that Russian users made a proportionately greater number of searches for anal-related material than anywhere else covered in the study.
Pink News quotes the website as saying "Proportionately speaking, Pornhub gets more requests for anal sex from Russia than any other country.”
The gay news website also quotes Russian MP Alexander Mikhailov said that marines have the right to flog the “asses” of gay people.
“In Russia for many centuries the ass was used for educational purposes and not for love entertainment. So we should use it according to its intended purpose.”
A Russian MP also recently demanded Apollo be removed from the country's bank notes, for fear that the Greek sun god would turn children gay.
The researchers also found that anal sex was more popular with straight users than gay ones - anal sex featured in under 6 per cent of searches specifically for gay material, less than the 7.24 per cent of “straight” searches.
