Limited edition Subaru BRZ revving up for 2017
More than simply offering a bright yellow custom paint job, the new model will come with uprated four-piston Brembo brakes up front and SACHS performance shock absorbers all around.
The chassis has also been stiffened and the already excellent Subaru Boxer engine tweaked for improved reliability and reduced internal friction. The result is 205hp and 156ib-ft of troque, and because that's being channelled to the rear wheels via a six speed manual with an improved final drive ratio, plus a Torsen limited slip differential, it will be more than enough to get keen drivers excited.
The exterior has been refreshed for improved aerodynamics - for instance the front bumper is wider and lower, while a new rear spoiler ensures sufficient downforce to keep the car planted at higher speeds.
Inside, the car features yellow trim accents that contrast nicely against the black leather and Alcantara, plus a new multifunction display that provides the driver with information regarding g-force in corners and doubles as a lap timer.
