Angelic twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques stole the show at the Monaco royal family's official Christmas shoot.

Photographs of the toddlers and their parents, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene, were posted on the royal palace's official Facebook page along with a festive greeting from the family.

A more formal shot — of the family posed in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree — was chosen for the official holiday card. It reads "May the joy and peace of the holiday season be with you in this New Year 2017".

Judging by the big grin on her face, the little Princess clearly found the experience great fun.

The shoot also included more casual shots of the twins relaxing in front of the Christmas tree with their father, Gabriella drawing and Jacques playing with a glittery snowflake ornament.

It's been a busy month for the twins. They celebrated their second birthday on December 10, and also recently attended Monaco’s annual palace Christmas party, where 600 delighted children attended a magic show in the throne room before receiving gifts from the royal family.
