Watch this bonanza of TV shows to get revved up for the royal wedding

It's royal wedding season! Actress Meghan Markle will be transformed into the Duchess of Sussex when she marries Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19.

If you have wedding fever, you're in luck because there are a wide range of TV shows relating to the royals coming up in the next couple of weeks:

FRIDAY, MAY 11

• Harry & Meghan: In Their Own Words airs at 8pm on ITV Choice (DStv channel 123).

SUNDAY, MAY 13

• Royal Wedding 2011: HRH Prince William & Catherine Middleton airs at 9pm on BBC Lifestyle (DStv channel 174).
• Prince Harry’s Story: Four Royal Weddings airs at 9pm on National Geographic (DStv channel 181).

SATURDAY, MAY 19: THE WEDDING DAY

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are scheduled to exchange vows at 13:00 South African time.

Several channels will be covering the build-up to the event, the wedding ceremony itself, as well as the newly wed's procession around Windsor in a horse-drawn carriage:

• ITV Choice (DStv Channel 123) will broadcast live, comprehensive coverage of the royal wedding from a specially-constructed studio on the grounds of Windsor Castle. Hosted by Julie Etchingham and Phillip Schofield, ITV's wedding special will run from 10:25am to 4pm and will feature friends of the royal family.
• Sky News (DStv channel 402), BBC Lifestyle and BBC World News (DStv channel 400) will also all be covering the wedding.

SUNDAY, MAY 20

• Operation Royal Wedding airs at 9pm on National Geographic.
