The streets of Melrose Arch were awash with rainbows on Saturday as members of the LGBTQI+ community came together for the 2018 Johannesburg Pride Parade and Mardi Gras event.

Dubbed the 'Pride of Africa', the theme of this year's highly-anticipated event was 'Come out and Color the Street in our Diversity' — and revellers certainly lived up to the challenge sporting creative costumes in kaleidoscopic hues.
