Wedding gowns, suits and running shoes - couples race to win money for a wedding
So, what do you do if you cannot afford to say "I do" to the love of your life? If you live in Bangkok, you could have competed in a race where the winning couple gets an all-expenses paid wedding and honeymoon.
According to Chinese news agency Xinhua, this year's Running of the Brides saw 300 couples race to win a $60,000 prize to pay for their big day.
The event was held on Saturday in Bangkok, Thailand.
Kitted in their wedding gowns and running shoes, brides ran to get to their grooms at another point of the race. The grooms then carried their wives and made a dash for the finish line.
Reuters reported that bride Saisroy Songprasert and groom Wasan Thatnamol can now afford their dream wedding after winning the 3km race.
