The world of dating apps has reached a new level of bizarre with the launch of Tudder – like Tinder, but for cows.

The app allows farmers to find breeding matches by providing the profiles of cows or bulls and listing information such as their age, location and their owner to accompany the pictures of horny beefcakes and meaty maidens.

The app is free and available on iOS and Android. It doesn’t require you to create a profile, like you would on Tinder, but works on the same premise. You select whether you want to search for a cow or a bull and simply swipe right if you like what you see and left if you don’t. Every swipe is accompanied by either a happy moo or a sad one.

Tudder is much more rewarding to use than Tinder as almost every swipe right produces positive results!

When you swipe right you are redirected to the website sellmylivestock.co.uk, where you can contact the owner or make an offer for the cow or bull which appealed to you – or the potential partner you’re trying to match it with.

Some of the responses under the ratings and review section of the app include: “Better than Tinder”, “Didn’t realise it was for cows to meet other cows. Disappointed.” and “A match found with every swipe. Very nice.”

Hectare, the farming start-up in the UK that started the app, says selling animals on social media is a remarkably faster process than transporting them over long distances to show and sell at markets.

The disclaimer on the home screen of the app reads: “This is meant to be a bit of fun.” Rumours are already circulating about a Tinder for sheep. How baaaad can it be?
