AN AMERICAN PICKLE  

Seth Rogen and Seth Rogen star in this quirky comedy about a Jewish immigrant worker in a pickle factory who is accidentally preserved in pickle juice for a century and wakes up in present-era Brooklyn where he sets off to track down his great-grandson. It’s quaint, gently touching and very Jewish-humoured  fun.

THE PENTAVERATE

Mike Myers brings his particular brand of spy-adventure spoofery to Netflix in this show in which he plays a host of roles including the lead as a Canadian journalist who tries to uncover the truth about the Pentaverate – the secret organisation which has ruled the world since 1947.

CHEATERS  

A sharply funny, dead-pan humoured series of short, smart vignettes chronicling the misadventures of two strangers who, after meeting in a Finnish hotel following the delay of their flight home, have a one-night stand and then attempt to return to their normal lives.

MELTDOWN: THREE MILE ISLAND

A docuseries that provides a thorough and gripping account of the nuclear reactor meltdown that occurred at Three Mile Island in the US in 1979 — the worst nuclear-related accident in US history and one whose consequences were felt for decades by those who survived it and those involved in trying to cover it up.

FLATBUSH MISDEMEANORS 

A bromance comedy series about two friends living in Flatbush, Brooklyn, that celebrates the highs, lows and eccentricities of life in the famous suburb and benefits from strong performances and a keen sense of the particularities of its setting and the memorable characters who populate it.

CLARK

Bill Skarsgård stars in this comedy-drama miniseries about Swedish gangster and popular anti-hero Clark Olofsson whose roguish charm and risky much-publicised criminal adventures in the 1970s led him to be the originator of the idea of “Stockholm Syndrome”.
