FIRE ISLAND

Director Andrew Ahn and writer and star Joel Kim Booster bring a refreshing twist to Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice with this queer positive resetting of the romance on the popular gay getaway resort of Fire Island.

BLACK BIRD

Noir writer Dennis Lehane adapts this series based on the best-selling memoir by James Keene and Hillel Levin. Taron Egerton stars as Keene, who, when sentenced to 10 years in a minimum security prison, cuts a deal to reduce his time by assisting the FBI and going undercover in a maximum-security prison to befriend a suspected serial killer and find out where he’s buried as many as 18 bodies. It also features one of the last performances by legendary actor Ray Liotta who died in May. The first two episodes are available with new episodes added weekly.

Writer Jimmy McGovern gives star Sean Bean a career defining, restrained but moving performance in this hard-hitting grim drama about a former teacher who's convicted of culpable homicide after a drunk driving accident and must face the dog-eat-dog world of life behind bars.

THE SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS

Mindy Kaling brings her comic talents to college life with this funny examination of modern campus shenanigans told through the eyes of female students. It’s occasionally gross, mostly funny and easy to enjoy as it traces the fortunes of four roommates at an exclusive college and their sexual and socially awkward adventures.

THE INVESTIGATION

A solidly thrilling and twisty piece of Scandi noir, which dramatises the complicated investigation into the much publicised “submarine murder” of journalist Kim Wall in Denmark in 2017.
