The last time a “Charles” was king, wigs for men were the thing. Long, bouncy, full wigs styled in fetching curls that cascaded beautifully down the shoulder and led the eye to the chest, where swathes of gold braiding and embroidery underscored the great wealth on display. It’s a little more subtle now. ..
