All roads led to the Sun City Superbowl on Saturday night, where South Africa's top musicians were honoured for their work at the annual SA Music Awards.

It was a night of glitz, glamour and sizzling performances by the likes of Babes Wodumo, Kelly Khumalo, Kwesta and Khuli Chana.

Kwesta was the big winner and walked away with six awards, while Amanda Black got three awards.

The red carpet was crawling with the who's who of the entertainment world, all dressed to the nines.

Here’s our pick of the best and worst dressed of the night.

BEST DRESSED

Bonang Matheba

Bonang stole the show in a gorgeous crimson red gown by Orapeleng Modutle.

Nomuzi "Moozlie" Mabena

Red was clearly a trend for the night with Moozlie wearing a stunning red gown by Gert Johan Coetzee.

Pearl Thusi

Pearl rocked the 'naked' dress trend in this sheer body-hugging dress from Cinnel Store.

WORST DRESSED

Thando Thabethe

Thando's gold exposed-shoulder gown didn’t quite hit the mark.

Feeling like an African goddess in @zarth_designs for #SAMA23 😍😍😍 facebeat: @clarabanx pic: @aust_malema

Khanyi Mbau

Khanyi's embellished sheer dress revealed too much skin. So much so, some labelled it 'inappropriate' for prime-time viewing.
