Designer Brittany Penebre of Salt Air takes us behind the seams of her latest sustainable swimwear collection

What are three details that encapsulate the Salt Air Iconic Collection?
Colour blocking, versatility - the collection varies between reversible styles and pieces that can be worn more than one way - and fit. The luxurious fabrics fit like a glove in all the right places.
What was the inspiration behind the colours and cut of the collection?
I wanted bold and fun colours that stand out in the crowd to make you the centre of attention. By modernising classic styles with sexy silhouettes, you can feel confident and comfortable while active - whether you are surfing or strutting your stuff at a pool party.
Tell us about the innovative technology used in the material production
I use a sustainable fabric from Italy made with Econyl, which is a 100% regenerated polymide fibre. It is more resistant to chlorine, sun creams and oils. The results are achieved thanks to innovative construction and the presence of LYCRA EXTRALIFE...
