The ever-evolving Louis Vuitton brand has revolutionised the fragrance world by creating a private collection just for men.
The collection, created by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, is dedicated to the many personalities of men and features five luxurious scents.
Nouveau Monde pays homage to all adventurous men, specifically Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza, who was a traveller and loyal Louis Vuitton customer.
Inspired by the emotion felt when eating Mayan chocolate, the scent has an unusual oriental quality combining oud, cocoa from the Ivory Coast, saffron and incense.
Au Hasard celebrates sandalwood sustainably cultivated in Sri Lanka. The woodiness of this ingredient is elevated with the spiciness of cardamom and the pear-like quality of amberette seed. Then there is the contradictory scent of Orage, which has a woodiness derived from patchouli, and lightness derived from iris and bergamot.
For the man who loves a more crisp scent, L'Immensité combines the sharp zestiness of grapefruit with aromatic ginger, ambroxan, sage and rosemary.Lastly, there is Sur La Route, which is a refreshing take on the typical citrus-inspired scent, using Calabrian citrus as its focus.
It is both spicy and fresh with notes of cedar, freshly cut grass, bergamot, pink peppercorn, nutmeg and Peruvian balsam.
