Fashionistas, bloggers, influencers and celebrities flocked to annual SA Style Awards ceremony held at Sandton City in Johannesburg last night.

Now in it's 22nd year, the SA Style Awards hands out accolades for the 'Most Stylish' individuals in 12 categories including Most Stylish Couple and Most Stylish South African Icon.

While the winners of the official trophies were preannounced earlier this month (see who won), here's which celebrities have won one of our unofficial awards for being amongst the best and worst dressed guests at the event:

BEST DRESSED

K NAOMI

The TV personality sparkled in a sequin suit with a plunging neckline.

ZURAIDA JARDINE

TV host Zuraida Jardine looked breathtaking in fully-beaded custom gown by Casey Jeanne Atelier.

SHASHI NAIDOO

Actress Shashi Naidoo looked cool, chic and effortless in a oyster two-piece

WORST DRESSED

SARAH LANGA

Though she looks gorgeous in red, fashion blogger Sarah Langa-Mackay failed to impress in this gown that looks like the love-child of a sexy nightie and a pair of ruffled veil curtains. It just goes to show that even the winner of  the Most Stylish Social Media Personality award can make a fashion misstep every now and then.

DJ ZINHLE

DJ Zinhle may have won Most Stylish Performing Artist in Music at last night's SA Style Awards, but she won't be getting any accolades from us for that outfit. She looks like she's headed off to a costume party dressed up as a Japanese anime character.

TAMARA DEY

Iconic designer Coco Chanel believed that less is more. One of her best-ever fashion tips was "before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off". We wish songstress Tamara Dey had followed this advice and removed that OTT headpiece before heading to the SA Style Awards.
