RECIPE: Boozy marinated olives

This cocktail snack will get the party started - in a mouthful!

Serves: 12 as a cocktail snack


20 each black and green olives

250ml (1 cup) gin

Rind of 1 large yellow lemon, peeled into thin strips with a vegetable peeler (no pith)

60ml (4 tbsp) dry vermouth

30ml (2 tbsp) fresh lime juice

250ml (1 cup) water


Combine all ingredients in a sterilised glass jar and mix well. Seal and leave to stand for a couple of days before serving.
