Serves: 4 as a snack or side dish
Ingredients:
100g butter, softened
2 garlic cloves, crushed
Large bunch fresh herbs (such as rosemary, thyme, fennel), roughly chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
200g exotic mushrooms
Method:
1) Mix the butter with the garlic and herbs and season.
2) Push the mushrooms onto 4 skewers.
3) Braai for about 5-7 minutes, turning constantly and basting with the herby butter.
4) Serve hot, topped with the remaining butter.
