Beach-babe detox smoothie
There is no magic diet pill for a bikini body, but fruits and vegetables filled with fibre, water, enzymes and vital nutrients - like the ones incorporated into this dairy-free smoothie - help heal digestion, reduce bloating and hydrate the skin
Serves: 1-2
Ingredients:
375ml (1 cups) kale, de-stemmed
Organic cucumber, chopped
2 sticks celery, chopped
1 small lemon, peel removed
1 ripe banana, frozen and sliced
1 small pineapple, peeled, frozen and diced
5ml (1 tsp) spirulina powder (or less)
250ml (1 cup) coconut milk
250ml (1 cup) cold, filtered water
5cm root ginger, peeled
Handful of ice cubes
Method:
Blend all ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy.
