Makes: 3 skewers
Ingredients:
2.5ml (½ tsp) cajun spice
½ clove of crushed garlic
10ml (2 tsp) crushed onion
Pinch of cayenne pepper
9 deveined and shelled prawns, with tails on
60ml (4 tbsp) porter beer
30ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
Method:
1) Mix cajun spice, crushed garlic, onion and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
2) Evenly sprinkle the mixture onto the prawns and marinate for 3 hours.
3) Pour beer over the prawns and marinate for another 30 minutes.
4) Place 3 prawns per skewer, baste with olive oil and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side.
5) Serve immediately.
