Supermarket 'no-name' brands are well-known budget-beaters - and as January is often the month when consumers find themselves the most cash-strapped, we have decided to test a selection of no-name brands and discover how they compare to the regular brands.
So that's why we need your help. If you have a discerning palate and consider yourself a bit of a foodie, please join us for a blind tasting to rate a selection of different products.
And for giving up your valuable time, each taster will go home with a copy of the latest Sunday Times cookbook as a thank you and stand a chance of winning one of two R250 grocery vouchers in a lucky draw.
