Japanese chef Takehiro Kishimoto has caught the eyes of the world on social media with his creative fruit and vegetable designs.

The Instagrammer, who has more than 230,000 followers, carves fruits and vegetables into beautiful and unique designs, using just a knife. 

From carving kiwis into flowers and using Japanese-inspired patterns, here are some of the most fascinating carvings from Kishimoto.
