Q. What are the different options for treatment of cervical cancer?
A pap test remains one of the most important screening tools for cervical cancer.
Once the diagnosis has been confirmed, the best choices will depend on several factors, such as:

The stage of the cancer. One may require further investigations such as blood tests, CT scans et cetera.
Whether the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. This is referred to as metastasis.
The size of the tumour.
Your desire to have children.If one has pre-cancerous cell changes in the cervix, there are several surgical options.
For early-stage cancer that has not spread beyond the cervix, one of the following may be recommended:..
