Talking appliance innovations with LG

Leana Schoeman's visit to LG's headquarters in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, turns her into an appliance junky

16 July 2017 - 00:00 By Leana Schoeman

On my recent visit to LG's headquarters in the beautiful and buzzing city of Seoul, South Korea, I was transformed into something of an "appliance junky" after being introduced to the LG experts and been given an insight into their incredible new range of appliances.
LG has been at the forefront of the appliance industry for decades and has established itself as the leader in home appliances such as the flat-panel TV, mobile devices, air conditioning, refrigerators and washing machines.
What I came to appreciate is the company's humble approach to their craft and a continuous dedication to meet the needs of their consumers on a human and caring level seen through a delicate intelligence in their design aesthetic.
No wonder their friendly and unique logo symbolises humanity, technology, the world, youth and future in one beautiful concept - not to mention their unique management system that exemplifies high ethical standards and transparent and honest business ethics.
I asked the LG Electronics team where the future lies, what sets them apart from the crowd and what's new and exciting in the home-appliance experience.
