How would you describe your style?
As an interior designer, I lean towards simplistic design expressed in a neutral palette. I play with texture and details to create unique pieces.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
I have a deep appreciation for historical architecture and the details of antique furniture.
I believe in beautiful joinery and honest, quality craftsmanship that expresses a grounded belief in timeless over trend.
How did you get involved in design?
I grew up in a home surrounded by architectural drawings from my dad's home studio and the smell of paint from my mother's art studio, so creativity definitely runs in the family.
From the age of 16, I was 100% convinced that I wanted to become a designer. I had a deep appreciation for all things visual and I wanted to create. What do you think of the South African design scene?
We have such an amazing and diverse selection of creatives at the moment. The creativity we see in the design field amazes and inspires me. From jewellery to ceramics, interiors, furniture and architecture, there's so much talent and the scene is growing...
