New collab makes customising a rug as simple as picking a paint colour

Designer rugs are high up on this year's decor watch-list, so a collaboration between The Rug Company and Farrow & Ball, one of the UK's leading craft and paint brands, is bang on trend.
Farrow & Ball are experts in colour and The Rug Company has tapped into this knowledge to create their first range of handloom rugs: the Complementary Colour Collection.
"Colour is the cornerstone of interior design. It is infinitely versatile and, when used well, the possibilities are endless," says Milly Wright, creative director at The Rug Company.
The new collection comprises 12 colourways available in three textures - plain wool, cut and loop stripe and wool with a silk border. All the rugs are hand woven in Nepal, and are customisable: you simply pick a colour, size and texture.
"In a celebration of pared-back simplicity, this collection makes it easy to choose a beautiful handmade rug for any interior scheme," says Wright...
