LIMBER IN THE LOWVELD
Yoga Wena director Shameen Yacoob arranges regular retreats in the gloriously warm and gorgeous Lowveld region.
In addition to daily yoga practice, the retreats feature international teachers and spiritually developed individuals, plus hikes, lectures, massage, breath work and some of the best vegetarian food you'll ever encounter, cooked by Yacoob's sister, Jubeda.
Their next retreat is August 24 - 27, with special guest Dr Ela Manga, author of The Energy Code. (R7,500 includes accommodation at Ligna Lodge, Sabie, meals and activities.)
They also have a seven-day Yoga, Safari, and Hiking Retreat from October 20-26. (R17,500 includes three nights at Ligna Lodge, two nights in the Kruger and one night at Kapsehoop.)

Halo Gaia's three- to four-day yoga retreats combine twice daily practice with wild dolphin encounters in the Ponta Partial Marine reserve in Southern Mozambique.

The retreats also incorporate sound journeys, meditation and drum circles.
The next retreat that includes yoga is August 7-11. The next full-on yoga retreat is Sep 29-Oct 2.SUPPLE IN THE CITY
